Population Welfare Training Institute, Lahore organized one day seminar on “Overpopulation in Punjab: Situation needing urgent attention” on 20-02-2019 at PILAC, Lahore. Honorable Col (R) Hashim Dogar, Minister for Population Welfare Department Punjab was Chief Guest on the occasion. Secretary PWD, and Director General also made a special participation in the seminar. Renowned academia leading journalists, religious scholars, and representatives of NGOs and departments were also invited. Guest Speakers were involved to throw light on different dimensions of population issues including pride of performance holder prominent play writer Mr. Asghar Nadeem Syed, and scholar Allama Shehzad Mujaddadi, Mr. Sarfraz Kazmi, Ms. Nayab Goher, Dr. Waqar Malik, and columnist Sughra Sadaf who shared their views and talked to the participants. Principal Thanked all the distinguished guests and audience for making the event successful.
