Population Welfare Department has recently inducted officers in BS 17/18. The department has nominated all officers for Pre-Service Training in two batches. Two weeks rigorous training program has been designed by the Population Welfare Training Institute for these officers. Core concepts of Demography, Contraceptives, Communication, Community Mobilization, Office Management, and Monitoring and Supervision are imparted to the trainees. Training methods such as lectures by eminent experts of the respective field, group exercises, individual presentations, field activities, and individual writing assignments are used to achieve training objectives.
