Men Advisory Units

Population Welfare Department Punjab extended the services for Male Reproductive Health issues to 15 selected populous districts of the province depending upon the demand and positive response of the general public. To serve the purpose ‘Men Advisory Units’ were established as a component of previously existing RHS ‘A’ Centers (now Family Health Clinic) in these districts. These units are headed by qualified male doctors to cater to the need of 'Family Planning’ and ‘Reproductive Health Issues’ of male members of the community.

They serve the services to provide:

  • Contraceptive services to men including vasectomy
  • Consultation and counseling regarding:
    • Infertility
    • Reproductive health problems of adolescents and elder men

A Men Advisory Training Center is located on the second floor of the outdoor block of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore.
